Teacups and Tulips!

Well its been a very very long time since I last blogged and I apologise for that. Things have been pretty manic around here, moving out, leaving my bf, quiting my job, starting a new one, getting debt free and going to the dentist! and on top of that I've helped out at a drama group, knitting a few bits and pieces, crocheted a few more, baked quiet a bit and been shopping!

I have fallen in love with cups and saucers! I have decided that when ever I come across an odd cup and saucer (you know the ones that are in charity shops that dont have anything else to go with it) im going to adopt it! I am planning on having a complete tea service made of all odd pieces, inc a cake stand, milk jug and sugar bowl!
I came across a really cute tea cup and saucer candle that I think is uber cute:

I also grabbed a really good bargin in Tesco the other day (yes you heard right, a bargin from Tesco)Tulips were reduced to 30p a bunch, so I grabbed 2:

I am madly in love with the colours of these flowers! I think that buying myself flowers will be my once a month treat to myself.

As I said, I have been knitting too, Ive made a hat, a cowl,a headband, 4 dish clothes, im currently working on a boulster cushion, a shawl and a blanket, I only have pics of the hat and cowl:


The cowl is very yummy, but the next one I make I will do a slight increase nearer the bottom so it flares to fit the neck better. Im not so sure on the hat though.
