I have had a pretty good week this week, lots of walking and feeling positive. I was a little naughty though. . . . . I had 27 points left for my dinner and couldn't decide what to have so I went on the WW website and had a look at what kind of takeaway I could have for those points and found out that a Cheese burger is 16 points and chips are 11 - so off to the shop I popped and had burger and chips for tea!
But boy did I regret it! I felt bloated and sluggish all evening and the next day found myself being hungrier earlier in the day so my little eating routine was all thrown out of sink! I am learning about foods that work for me and foods that don't in a big way this week. Its good stuff to learn and makes me more motivated.
I have started to take my measurements now too. I know that some weeks I may only lose 1 or even only half a pound but you can still lose inches from your bust/waist/hips/thigh/arm so I have made a record of them and will check them on a weekly basis too.
So the news you have all been waiting for, how much I have I lost this week?
Well I have lost a massive 6lbs this week!
Total loss to date: 11lbs!
I has a happy this week!
Come and take a peek at my life, loving, laughing, crying, crafting, knitting and baking!!!!

50 Shades of Grey
Well I jumped on the 50 shades band wagon and brought the books. I read them in a week! I'm starting to think the books are a little like marmite - you love them or you hate them. Most of the people I know who have read them love them but Ollie's mum was not impressed by them.
I cant tell you what it is about them that makes them so easy to read but you are gripped by the story and eager to know what comes next. At some points its quiet fantastical, the finding someone who is uber rich that wants to buy you amazing things and take you into his amazing world where helicopter rides, holidays on huge yachts, fast cars and amazingly expensive clothes are the norm, but isn't that what a lot of women out there fantasise about? Its a modern Cinderella story in that sense. There is some pretty detailed sex in it but I personally don't think that the label of "Lady Porn" is right. The first book has a lot of sex in it but as the story develops and the characters grow only new experiences are given in depth.
The characters are the type of people that you probably walk past in the street and admire from a far. Christian being that handsome out of reach, sharp suited business man that you see in the coffee shop each morning when you get off your train on your commute to London that you wish you had the nerve to say hello to. Anastasia is the type of super shy pretty girl that is so helpful when you need her help in the office but keeps herself to herself and never goes out for that Friday night drink after work.
One of the thing that keeps you gripped but I think a lot of women have trouble relating to is the innocence of Ana. A lot of us reading would have been more than willing to go along with anything that Christian wants to do, where as she is hesitant and over thinks everything. But the more you read the books the more you realise that Christian is the innocent one. He has never allowed himself to be open to all that Ana has to offer him so both of them grow in the books, each in a different way but to the same end.
I cant say too much else or ill be giving the story away and those who have'nt read them should, even if its only to know if you're a lover or a hater.

Officially Dieting!
Well I have decided that enough is enough! I am now at my biggest I have ever been - a massive 19st 7lbs!! Im quiet tall and seem to carry the weight well because everyone has told me that I dont look that big! Well I feel that big! Im uncomfortable and my clothes are tight and im sick of not having nice things to wear because they dont go up to big sizes.
I have always been reluctant to share my weight with people because im embarrassed about it - well the embaresment needs to fuel the determination and boy am I determined this time!
I have been using a diet app on my phone which is basically Weight Watchers but it only costs you £1.99 to buy and there is no monthly subscription. I started last Friday and today was my first weight in and I have lost 5lb!
Im uber chuffed as I felt very bloated and thought I had over done it this week with the amount of fruit I have been eating but its all good!
Moving forward my Friday Blog posts will be diet ones! Ill keep you all updated on how im doing.
