Major case of the Wanties

I haven't done one of these in a while because I found a new way of coping with the urge to own things! I have a Pintrest account and one of my boards is called "major case of the wanties" so I have been pinning things to my board left, right and centre! Happy Anniversary to us!!!

Thursday August 23rd was mine and Ollie's official 1 year together anniversary! I cant believe that we have been together for a year (well just over)!

Its been a happy, easy year and makes me realise that loving someone and being loved should come easily. We had had our difficult times but they seem to be easy too - us standing together makes us stronger and things easier to handle.

I love him with all my heart.

Diet - Week 6

I've felt pretty good about my diet this week until last night! I ate something yesterday that didn't agree with me ( I don't know what ) and my IBS has been bad all night. I have lost weight which is great but my belly is swollen and sore so I have gained cm and feel very sluggish and lethargic today. 

Weight loss this week: 2lbs

Total Weight Loss: 18lbs (1st 4lbs)

The Conetta Baby Blanket Reveal

I have finished the ripple baby blanket for one of the guys I work with. Do you remember how it started? All the umming and ahhring about what colours to use and in the end I went with these:


I made a start on it and instantly fell in love with the colours! 


Well its all finished!!! Take a look . . . . . .







Im super pleased with it and cant wait to give it to the recipient! Mummy is currently in labour and we should have a new baby at any time!

I've had a very naughty week this week! It involved a meal and Nandos and a huge slice of chocolate cake, but I will say no more! I am determined to get back on track next week and you will see good figures here next Friday.

A Tale of Two Kitties

Ollie and I went and spent the weekend with The Stimpsons on the 7/8 of July and both got tattoos done! Bev is an apprentice tattooist but is truly amazing. I have become a customer for life and will continue to go back to her for more and more tattoos!

Here is my new one:

A Hello Kitty lady bird on my left ankle! I love love love her. Bev will be getting the same tattoo in the same place so we have matching ones! This will be the 2nd of my tattoos that I have shared with friends. The heart/butterflies on my upper back is shared with Rosie! She has one of the butterflies on her hip.



And here is Ollie's. A Zombie Hello Kitty on his left leg! I love her! Bev loves her! Ollie loves her! Bev did an amazing job on this and it looks sooooooo good!

Both of us are all healed now and thinking about what to have next. . . . . . .watch this space!

Diet - Week 4

Well I've had a really really bad week this week. I haven't done any exercise what so ever due to pain! I have had, what I think, is a trapped nerve in my groin. It's been agony and on Wednesday I could barely walk. Its still snagging every now and again but has eased up a little and I'm planning on get back to it next week. So as you can imagine I dreaded getting on the scale this morning . . . .was it good or was it bad???

Diet - Week 3

Well I've had an up and down kind of week this week. I've not been well. I've been light headed and dizzy and when I stop moving the room starts to spin, I've had nausea and a headache for the last few days too. I went to the doctors this morning because of this and a few other problems (wheezing and an aching hip) He has told me that I am suffering from vertigo (its not the dieting that's doing it) and unfortunately this doesn't have a cure. Also I may have asthma so have been given a puffer to use for a month and then I need to go back to the Dr to see if its made a difference. My hip is aching because of the amount of exercise I have been doing! Apparently I'm doing too much too soon and am losing too much weight too fast!

I hate Dr's one minute your too fat and the next overdoing it! Well I'm not changing my routine and I'm going to keep at it.

Thigh: (S) 70cm - (T) 68cm = 2cm lost

Distance walked this week: 11.41km

Overall I'm very happy with the result, now I just need to shake off the Dr's negativity and use it to fuel more weight loss.
